The Editor’s Diary | A Night At Whistler’s New Pangea Pod Hotel
Excerpt:
“A whimsical, surreal mural, by noted Canadian artist Ola Volo, welcomes guests at the entrance to the building, reflecting the design aesthetic though out the hotel. Arriving at the top of the stairs — your bike can travel up a metal track with you — you’ll find the reception desk. It’s so very techy too. Room keys are snazzily designed chips on a bracelet in the hotel’s brand colours of turquoise, black and white. Just think, no matter how many apres ski cocktails are downed, one will never lose their key.
